Questions and Answers

What are the options of different Nuclear Stress Testing, and why would you choose one over the other?

For what duration should Plavix be used after a stent?

Should BMP be checked at baseline before starting ACE-I, ARB?

Unsure of Post-pacing EKG changes (the complexes which follow paced beats), can you clarify?

Who would you put on pradaxa and who would you still use Coumadin on?

I am still uncomfortable with Dabigatran (Pradaxa) due to no antidote, esp. in young patients- (pregnancy/more high risk behaviors).  What  guidelines can you suggest in choosing the most appropriate agent to use?
