Elder Abuse Prevention

Elder abuse refers to intentional or neglectful acts that may harm an older adult. This often occurs by individuals that they know or trust in the form of physical, verbal or physiological abuse; neglect; threats; financial abuse and exploitation; sexual abuse; or abandonment. Elder Abuse Prevention Programs are available around the country to investigate and intervene when allegations of abuse are reported. Here are a couple websites that may assist you.
