What Makes UCVA Different

UCVA is a Private Practice Cardiology group

Being a privately owned cardiology practice allows us the ability to have our patients treated at any hospital they or their primary care physician prefers. In addition to supporting your decision of where to go, UCVA is an affiliate of the University of Rochester Medical Center as well as the contracted cardiology group supporting the Unity Health System. Our physicians have admitting privileges at Highland Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, Strong Memorial Hospital, and Unity Hospital at Parkridge. Therefore, when it comes to continuity of care, a member of UCVA is available to you.

Our Services

UCVA provides a variety of services expanding past general cardiology into the intricate subspecialties such as Electrophysiology and Interventional care. Cardiac electrophysiologists have additional training in the management of heart rhythm disturbances and employ sophisticated techniques to diagnose and treat arrhythmias, including ablation therapy (to eliminate electrical pathways in the heart that cause arrhythmias) and implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. Interventional cardiologists are trained to perform coronary angiograms and correct coronary blockages with angioplasty and stenting.

Cardiology is often times thought of as only care for your heart, while UCVA provides comprehensive cardiovascular care. As Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) becomes more prevalent, our onsite state-of-the-art technology and professional staff offer a full range of vascular testing to our patients in a warm and convenient office setting.

Multiple Locations

When it comes to providing convenient service to the community, accessibility is everything. UCVA provides a full range of cardiac testing and consultative care at all four of our locations, Brighton, Greece, Geneseo, and Dansville. We also provide on-site services to Lifetime Health and Veterans Administration patients. If you belong to either of these groups and are looking for a cardiologist, please call our office for further information. (585) 442-5320.

Customer Service

While our various services, locations, and close relationships with the local medical centers do make UCVA unique, it is our customer service standards that truly make UCVA the place that patients continually recommend to others. At UCVA, you will find a warm, friendly, compassionate staff that is eager to assist you. We understand the stress patients and families encounter when a loved-one needs cardiac care. We are here to help you. We not only want to provide the cardiac care you need and expect, but we look forward to the opportunity of simply brightening your day. It is at the heart of our mission to not merely meet, but to exceed your expectations.

From everyone at UCVA, it would be our pleasure to provide your cardiovascular care.
